The “Amina” app was created to simplify migration registration in Moscow and the Moscow Region. It effectively replaces the paper arrival notification and helps monitor the legality of residence.
The main purpose of the service is to register migrants and confirm residence at the specified address.
Through the app, you can:
1. Register and confirm migration registration in digital format. There is no need to fill out paper forms or carry the detachable part of the notification. It is enough to show your profile in the app.
2. Confirm the legality of your stay. If police officers request documents, you can present your data in the “Amina” app. This reduces the risk of a fine under Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for not carrying the notification.
3. Indicate and change your address of residence. If you move or change apartments, you can update your address in the system yourself (within the region where the service operates).
4. See the registration validity period. The app shows when your registration expires so you do not miss the deadline.
5. Receive notifications. The service sends reminders if geolocation has not been transmitted for more than three days or if there are other issues with confirming residence.
To register, you will need:
- the QR code of the foreign citizen card (or passport details);
- a confirmed phone number;
- a real-time facial photo;
- the exact residential address;
- access to geolocation.
The app was developed by a government institution, is free of charge, and ensures data protection.
Using the app saves time and helps avoid fines for not having confirmation of registration.
